Court Preparation and Advocacy

Court Preparation and Advocacy: The Center’s active participation in the teams of all ten counties in the Barren River Area provides an excellent safety net to ensure a child and his/or her non-offending caregivers are adequately prepared whenever prosecution efforts are made to hold offenders accountable for their crimes against a child.  The Center provides this service directly to children and families or works closely with prosecution based victim advocates to ensure the needs of child victims and families are considered throughout the prosecution process.
